Hardwood sand and finish: Restoration details

This project involved a comprehensive hardwood sand and finish across a spacious, multi-room home. Initially, the process required stripping the original floors throughout the main floor, including the grand entryway, the adjoining hallways, and a dining area accented with wainscoting. Subsequently, the restoration work extended into the expansive living room, which features a brick fireplace and large sliding glass doors. Following the thorough sanding to bare wood, we applied multiple layers of a protective polyurethane clear coat. Ultimately, this careful application resulted in the durable, highly reflective glossy finish seen throughout the spaces, successfully revitalizing the structural integrity and aesthetic of the natural wood.
